The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.

The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.

Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.'

The United States' use of radioactive munitions in Afghanistan has destroyed the people's health and mutilated the genetic future of the country

Dr. Mohammad Daud Miraki, the author of Afghanistan After Democracy: The Untold Story Through Photographic Images, said on Monday that the US has committed horrific crimes against the people of Afghanistan. He said the US used depleted uranium in the country and Afghan babies were being born with severe deformitiesExposure to depleted uranium causes genetic damage, birth defects, cancer, diabetes, immune system damage, and other serious health problems. Miraki has described this as genocide in his book, which provides an insight into the grimness of life under the US occupation. He says that he has seen people die without any physical signs of injuries to their bodies in Afghanistan In his book, birth defects are depicted with graphic images. He said he was overwhelmed by the number of these cases.  Miraki noted that the US used a massive amount of depleted uranium weapons in late 2001. He went on to say that US forces are still using these weapons in the country.

British Pair Arrested in US on Terror Charges Over Twitter Jokes

'Two British tourists were barred from entering America after joking on Twitter that they were going to 'destroy America' and 'dig up Marilyn Monroe'.

Leigh Van Bryan, 26, was handcuffed and kept under armed guard in a cell with Mexican drug dealers for 12 hours after landing in Los Angeles with pal Emily Bunting.

The Department of Homeland Security flagged him as a potential threat when he posted an excited tweet to his pals about his forthcoming trip to Hollywood which read: 'Free this week, for quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America?''

Infertility-Linked to Monsanto’s Roundup after its found in All Urine Samples Tested

   A recent study conducted by a German university found very high concentrations of glyphosate, a carcinogenic chemical found in herbicides like Monsanto’s Roundup, in all urine samples tested.

The amount of glyphosate found in the urine was staggering, with each sample containing concentrations at 5- to 20-fold the limit established for drinking water.

This is just one more piece of evidence that herbicides are, at the very least, being sprayed out of control.

Over the last few years, the use of tasers by police has been the centre of some controversy amongst the    members of the general public. While the devices were originally justified as a means to subdue violent criminals without using lethal force, the fact is that tasers have not replaced lethal force at all. They have, however, replaced reason and common sense. Instead of a tool to reduce lethal contact, tasers have become nothing more than cattle prods to be deployed against anyone who does not immediately obey a police command, regardless of how illegal or ludicrous that command may be.
